Sierra Raine Donovan, 31, of Chesterfield, Virginia died on September 16th, 2024 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Born November 30th, 1992 in Warren, Michigan, she was the daughter of Mary Donovan and Mark Donovan. She was a talented artist and writer, with a deep appreciation for music. Her sense of humor and sweetness brought joy to everyone around her, making her presence a source of light and laughter. A true free spirit, she embraced life with a happy-go-lucky and adventurous attitude that inspired those who knew her. Sierra grew up in Michigan, attending Western Michigan University and earning a degree in Political Science. She moved to Charlottesville VA in 2015, where she developed a passion for horticulture and landscaping.
Sierra is survived by her mother, Mary Donovan of Chesterfield, VA, and her father, Mark Donovan of Farmington, MI, as well as her brothers, Dylan Donovan of Hickory Hills, IL, and Justin Donovan of Farmington, MI. She is also survived by her aunts, Patricia Wagner (Dennis) of Henderson, NV, and Judy Hewelt (Daniel) of Reed City, MI, as well as her uncles, David Donovan of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Clifford Donovan (Barbara) of Farmington, MI. Special thanks to Kaye Frazier, and her closest friends Jessie Gordon and Christian Porter. Her gentle, loving and caring nature will be missed by many more friends, relatives, and co-workers.
