CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Mayor JuanDiego Wade told Morning News said last month he had not decided whether he’s running next year for re-election, but said Vice Mayor Brian Pinkston is. That outing of plans seemed to take Pinkston by surprise on Tuesday’s Morning News, but he told Jay James he plans to run. He did not make it official, saying he and his wife are still discussing it. But Pinkston said he’s enjoyed the work he’s done on Council, and is leaning in the direction to run. If he does, he said it would only be for one more term as he feels someone else should serve on Council after he’s done two terms.
