Robert William Haslam Jr., 96, of Fluvanna passed away on September 8, 2024.
He was born June 7, 1928, to the late Robert William Haslam Sr. and Florence Carlson, in Brooklyn New York. He is also preceded in death by his wife of nearly 52 years, Edna Arlene Haslam.
He is survived by his children: daughter, Janice Mattera (Joseph); son, Jay Haslam (Beth) and their children Michael, Laura, and Mitchell; and daughter Kathleen Ludewig (Robert) and their children Glenn, and Carri.
Robert had a deep passion for model trains and a fine touch for building furniture, particularly doll houses. While he was an avid craftsman and spent much of his time building, he cherished his family most of all.
