CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The local Two Men And A Truck franchise is participating late summer into early fall in the Movers For Mutts campaign to benefit CASPCA. General Manager Scott Weaver says he loves animals overall but has had a special working relationship with dogs in an earlier career as a law enforcement K-9 handler. He’s also adopted a number of dogs. They’re collecting items through the end of October.
Two Men and A Truck has set up drop boxes at 10 locations where they’re collecting things such as towels, blankets, dog and cat food, pet treats, leashes, collars, pet toys, litter, food dishes, and disposable waste bags, and they take them to the CASPCA. Weaver says it you want a drop box at your location, they’ll bring one there. They do all the work bringing and collecting drop boxes as well as the donations in them.
