Shizuoka, Japan (CVILLE RIGHT NOW):  The Pan-Pacific UGSL Tournament in Shizuoka, Japan is underway, and after the first day of competition, UVA Women’s Golf leads the field of teams in the tournament after the first round.  At the time of writing, the second round has begun.

The Hoos are at the front of the field thanks to stellar performances up and down the team, principally by Amanda Sambach, who is shooting 5 under 67.   Jaclyn LaHa, Chloe Schiavone, and Kennedy Swedick all sit at 1 over 73.  That group sits in a tie at 13th, and Megan Propeck is tied for 42nd at 4 over 76.
