Peter S. McAlexander, age 81, of Potomac, MD, went home to be with his Lord on August 23, 2024. Peter was born on July 9, 1943, in Gmund, Germany and was a loving son to Everett M. McAlexander and Franziska S. McAlexander. Peter was a devoted husband to Jacqueline Westbrook and human-dad to his beloved dog, PJ. After graduating from Derby High School in Wichita, KS, he joined the U.S. Air Force and graduated from Computer Programming Institute in Denver, CO. He then came east to be closer to his family, finally finding a job in D.C. where he met the love of his life, his wife, Jackie.
Peter is survived by his sister, Monika M. Snead and her daughter, Jennifer Franklin; his brother, Marshall C. McAlexander, his wife, Mina, and his three children: Maria, Mark, and Maili; his brother-in-law, Robert Westbrook and his wife, Susan; and his sister-in-law, Brenda Matthews. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, and one very special niece, Brianna Franklin.
Peter was loved and will be deeply missed.
