Michael Glenn Collier, 67, of Earlysville, VA, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Mike was born on February 28, 1957 to the late Johnnie and Dorothy Collier. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Lori Collier and brothers, James Randy and John Wayne Collier.
He is survived by his son, Robert J. Collier and wife, Megan, and his daughter, Nicki Burnett and husband, Marcus; ten grandchildren: Duncan, Barrett, Hudson, and Griffin Collier; and Breana, Luke, Blaise, Trayton, Ayden and Adalynne Burnett; ten great-grandchildren: Sophia, Ella, Aspen, Everly, River, Wyatt, Graham, Gatlin, Amelia and Gabrielle and two special family members: Chasity Burnett and Cassandra Ramos.
Also surviving is his sister, Janice K. Shifflett and husband, Keith, their children and grandchildren, and brother, Charles Collier.
Mike was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather, and a loyal friend. His wife, Lori, of over 44 years, was his life and his family was his world. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and loved ones.
Mike was a dedicated employee with Charlottesville City Schools for over 20 years. After retirement, he worked as property manager of his rental homes.
