WASHINGTON, DC (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are available in Virginia for small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofit organizations with economic losses due to drought that began on July 16. The specific primary counties, along with the adjacent localities, makes our entire Charlottesville area eligible. These loans are not available to the actual farmer or rancher, but are for aquacultural producers and nursery operators.
