JARRATT, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Jarratt, VA-based Boar’s Head Provisions is recalling all liverwurst, and all other associated, product because of possible listeria contamination. The USDA says also involved in the recall is additional deli meat products produced on the same line on the same day as the liverwurst. That’s more than 207,000 pounds worth.
The ready-to-eat liverwurst products were produced between June 11, 2024, and July 17, 2024, and have a 44-day shelf life. Check your refrigerators and freezers, and the specific products and labels are listed in the USDA release you can access by clicking here.
