CULPEPER (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – A contractor with the Virginia Department of Transportation will begin work Monday, July 22 to link two turn lanes on southbound U.S. 29 (North Seminole Lane), just north of Route 631 (Kirtley Road), which lead to the Prince Michel Vineyard in Madison County.
Crews will close the existing turn lanes and add about 300 feet of roadway between them to create one continuous turn lane onto Route 631.
Crews will work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Drivers might encounter an occasional right lane closure as well.
VDOT advises using caution through the work zone and being alert for workers near the roadway.
