Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW): The Tom Sox will resume their July 9th game against the Covington Lumberjacks this Friday, July 19th. The game was called in the middle of the 5th inning last Friday due to inoperable field lights. Fans excited for the previously scheduled Bark in the Park night at Charlottesville High School will be treated to extra baseball beginning at 5 p.m., before the Bark in the Park game starts at 7 p.m. The action will resume in the bottom of the 5th with the Tom Sox holding a 2-1 lead.

Tom Sox action will continue tomorrow, July 11th, at 7 p.m. for Virginia Athletics Night. Maggie Cagle, of UVA Women’s Soccer, and former Women’s Rowing Head Coach Kevin Sauer will be the evening’s special guests, celebrating the upcoming 2024-25 season of UVA Athletics.
