WASHINGTON, DC (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Hill is reporting this morning there will be no gathering of Democrats today (Monday) t0 discuss President Joe Biden’s future, but not necessarily because of some change of heart. The Washington Post and Axios reported Friday that Virginia’s senior U.S. Senator Mark Warner reached out to fellow Senators earlier last week. However, The Hill this (Monday) morning reports “a source familiar with Senator Mark Warner’s thinking” said there will be no such huddle of Senate Democrats to discuss Biden. The report does not refute the sentiment of what was supposed to be a Monday night meeting. The Hill reports the Warner source said “the meeting was never scheduled because leaked details of the idea of the meeting made it impossible to have private conversations”.
