ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (ACPD) – The Albemarle County Police Department has identified the deceased victim of the homicide that occurred on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the area of Cypress Pointe Drive as 59-year-old Jennie Marie Quick.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers detained Ms. Quick’s sister, Jessie Christine Krahenbill Greyer, 59 years old of Waynesboro, for suspicion of the crime. ACPD has now charged Ms. Greyer of one count of second degree murder (§ 18.2-32).
