NEW YORK (WINA) – The Farmville area musician whose “Rich Men North of Richmond” song went viral earlier this month has made history. Already at the top of Apple Music’s Top 100… Oliver Anthony’s hit song has debuted at Number-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. It’s the first time that’s ever happened with an artist who has no record label or chart history.

It’s overall the 69th debut single in history to debut at Number-1.
